These Terms of Service govern your use of NowYou AI. In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) of India, NowYou AI operates as a Data Fiduciary, ensuring transparency, explicit consent, strict data protection, and full respect for your rights as a Data Principal.
1. Explicit Consent & Student Registration
By creating an account on NowYou AI, you provide free, specific, informed, unconditional, and unambiguous consent to the collection and processing of your personal data strictly for educational AI tutoring purposes.
Name & Surname: Collected for user identification and personalized AI greetings.
Email & Verification Code (OTP): Used for secure authentication and account recovery.
Academic Grade & Subject Preferences: Used to customize NCERT & CBSE AI tutoring materials.
Right to Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw your consent at any time through your Account Settings or by emailing support@nowyou.in.
2. Data Principal Rights (Under DPDP Act 2023)
As a Data Principal using NowYou AI, you hold statutory rights under Section 11–14 of the DPDP Act:
Right to Access InformationRequest a summary of personal data processed by NowYou AI.
Right to Correction & ErasureRequest correction of inaccurate data or complete deletion of your account.
Right of Grievance RedressalAccess a dedicated Grievance Officer for data concerns.
Right to NominateNominate an individual to exercise data rights in case of incapacity.
3. Protection of Minors & Children's Data
In accordance with Section 9 of the DPDP Act 2023 for educational platforms catering to students (Classes 6–12):
NowYou AI requires verifiable consent from parents or lawful guardians for users under 18 years of age.
NowYou AI strictly prohibits tracking, behavioral monitoring, or targeted advertising directed at children.
No harmful or unsafe content is processed or generated by NowYou AI models.
4. AI Models & Fair Usage Policy
NowYou AI utilizes advanced Hydra 2.1 and Hydra Pro 3.2 AI models to generate educational diagrams, formula sheets, notes, and study quizzes.
AI outputs are supplementary academic aids. Students should cross-verify with official NCERT / State Board textbooks.
Users agree not to misuse AI chat capabilities for automated spamming, reverse-engineering, or non-educational activities.
NowYou AI reserves the right to rate-limit or suspend accounts violating fair usage limits.
5. Governing Law & Grievance Redressal
These terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.
